Senior Tax Manager - Global PE management
Main Responsibilities:
*Assist with the review, implementation and updates for the Global PE management structure and regulations. Monitor the conduction of PE management regulations globally.
*Maintain an understanding of the company's global business developments, activities and business processes to identify the potential PE risks and suggest solutions to mitigate or control.
*Provide support and advice to the company's contract signing model, investment, M&A, international expatriation structure, TP structure, including conducting PE due diligence and designing deal structures and presenting findings and recommendations to management
*Review and analyze the tax effects mainly from PE perspective of proposed business transactions and assist in the preparation of operating guidelines for new business activity
*Support global PE audits. Provide professional suggestions on the litigation strategies and review the appeal solutions.
*Maintain relationships with external advisors to ensure a clear understanding of Huawei's business operations and timely support on key projects.
*Provide training and coaching to the wider global tax team with latest tax news, laws and the tax environment trends.
Requirements:
*Degree in accounting, finance, economics or tax law or relevant equivalent.
*Professionally qualified ACA or equivalent with CTA/ADIT or equivalent preferred.
*A minimum of 10 years experience in tax advisory or international tax work in a leading multinational and/or Big Four firm.
*Extensive international tax experience with detailed knowledge of PE. Experience in Transfer Pricing/VCT preferred.
