This general chartered accountancy practice based across two offices in Preston and London are looking to recruit a new Personal Tax Manager due to a retirement. This firm are an award winning practice with ten working in the Preston office on the whole and three partners. This firm offers a wide range of general services including accountancy, audit, payroll, taxation and business advisory services.

Your new role
As a personal tax manager you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of around 200 personal tax clients consisting of high net worth individuals, trusts and company directors. You will be responsible predominantly for the general compliance work associated and ad hoc advisory work as and when required. In addition to this you may have a small involvement in VAT work, payroll and assisting with general accounts when requited. You will also be responsible for liaising with clients via email, telephone and face to face.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and being responsible for the general compliance and ad hoc advisory work. You will also be experienced in VAT work, payroll, bookkeeping and accounts ideally. The ideal candidate will also be CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA/ATT.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts, you will receive a salary of between £30,000-£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive an excellent opportunity within a reputable firm in an excellent location.
