JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Senior will:
Prepare complex corporate, partnership and individual returns
Assist clients with fundamental Tax Planning analysis
Analyze client records to determine tax consequences and mitigate risk areas
Research Tax regulations and code sections for preparation of tax returns
Research issues involved in Federal, state and local tax planning projects
Develop and maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with clients
Work with partners and clients to provide maximum tax efficiency
Manage multiple clients’ needs at the same time
Coordinate tax compliance requirements with the audit staff
Develop and guide staff professionals by providing effective performance feedback and training
Complete routine administrative tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2-3 years of recent Real Estate Tax experience working in the Tax Department of a quality CPA Firm
Strong real estate compliance knowledge
Ability to multitask
Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
Highly organized
Desired Skills
CPA, MS in Taxation and/or LLM
Broad knowledge and experience with investment partnerships, S-Corporations
