The Role – Tax Senior
This role will entail working with a partner and the tax team assisting with planning and all related aspects of looking after tax compliance affairs of a variety of high net worth clients, trusts, sole traders and partnerships. There will also be advisory work to compliment this compliance on an ad hoc basis.
The role will encompass but not be limited to:
- Research and drafting advice on a range of ad-hoc international private client issues including Non doms, IHT and CGT
- Preparation of Tax Computations
- Preparation of engagement letters and client acceptance information
- Ensuring that all client files (electronic) are kept up to date with relevant documentation in the appropriate sections
- Preparation of annual self-assessment tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, notifying clients of their tax liabilities and submitting returns to HMRC and related working papers.
- Dealing with the HMRC, in respect of enquiries & assembling the relevant documentation

Candidate Requirements:
- ATT qualified with 2 years' PQE experience. First time passes desirable
- Strong academic background
- Corporate tax knowledge advantageous but corporate tax exposure not essential.
