R&D Engineering Tax, Big 4, London, up to £50k

Your new company
You will be joining the R&D tax department of a Big 4 Accountancy firm. As part of the wider Business Tax Advisory group of this Big 4 firm, the R&D tax team are a successful, growing team with a high profile client base. Working in a team based, consultancy environment, this is the ideal opportunity to hone your technical industry knowledge as well as managing projects and building strong client relationships.

Your new role
Working closely with the senior engineers within a variety of engineering sector, you will be responsible for analysing scientific aspects of R&D projects undertaken by a varied client portfolio. Responsibilities include interviewing clients' senior technical staff in order to develop an understanding of the engineering aspects of projects undertaken. You will also manage client relationships and be involved in many projects as a team member and a leader. The purpose of your role will be to identify R&D projects that are eligible for tax relief.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a recent graduate in any engineering field or qualified engineer with a minimum of two years in industry. The ideal candidate for this role will have work experience as a engineer, with the ability to adapt to different industry sectors. You will have an understanding of process improvement targets including yield and cost-effectiveness. Experience of project work and supporting an R&D team are also essential, as well as evidence of managing a team and working closely with external suppliers.

What you'll get in return
The salary for this role ranges from £30,000 to £50,000 dependant upon the experience you possess in your designated engineering field. You will also receive a number benefits as part of your package.
