FTSE 250 company seeking Systems Administrator for Capital Gains Tax team

This FTSE 250 Financial Services company is looking for a systems administrator to join the Capital Gains Tax team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a range of investment systems for stats and tax applications, with potential for growth and development within this large company.
Your new role
Reporting to the Capital Gains Tax Manager, you will support the Investment Managers on issues relating to Capital Gains Tax. Your main responsibilities will be: Reconciling discrepancies in data from Fiscal to Cgix, analysing exceptions and correcting entries in Cgix; Liaising with fund managers and third parties on issues with data and calculations; testing new versions, preparing stats telephone inquiries and other adhoc duties.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have an understanding of financial securities and some experience in the financial industry, ideally in tax. You will be a motivated and ambitious team-player, able to work to deadlines, commercially aware and comfortable communicating with Investment Managers. You must also be a logical, analytical person with good arithmetic skills and knowledge of excel. Ideal candidates will be ACIS (Securities & Investment Institute) qualified and will also have some exposure to Capital Gains Tax and corporate events, and experience of Fiscal, Figaro or Cgix systems. SQL skills would also be beneficial.
