Tax & international mobility associate (3 days per week - 6 month fixed term contract) in London

Based onsite with our client, an international investment bank based in the City, the Tax and Internal Mobility Associate is instrumental in assistance with the delivery of their global expatriation policy across EMEA.
The main objective of this role is to prepare UK tax and social security compliance of local and expat employees for individuals and UK tax reporting. Responsibilities will include 
Assisting with the day to day management of the internationally mobile population with a specific emphasis on tax compliance 
Reviewing all commuter and complex assignment arrangements, and validating the tax and social security position (with assistance from the tax provider where applicable)
Ensuring the correct implementation of payroll joiners within the expatriate payroll and with respect to termination payments and UK commuters 
Support assignee's with employment tax related queries 
Support the UK and EMEA HRBP's with technical queries 
Preparation of the UK tax and social security compliance of local and expatriate employees, including: preparation of statutory reporting
Liaising with HR Representatives throughout the EMEA region to assist with coordinating the delivery of projects and addressing potential areas of non-compliance.
The successful candidate will have an ATT, ATII or CTA qualification and expatriate tax and international mobility experience. Knowledge of PAYE, UK social security, share schemes and benefit reporting is also strongly preferred.  You must also have strong excel skills and excellent attention to detail. The ability to coordinate between several teams and countries in this key role will be imperative to this multinational focused role.
