Senior Tax Manager, Energy Business, Edinburgh, to £80k

A market leading energy business is looking to hire a senior tax manager for their Edinburgh office. The focus of this role is to implement tax procedures & processes to support European green energy operations. This business division is at the forefront of the group's strategic growth.

The senior tax manager position is a new role, established to directly support the CFO. Key accountabilities include:

* Developing & implementing rigorous tax processes
* Ensuring direct & indirect tax compliance
* Tax reporting
* Advising on optimising tax matters
* Plan, budget and forecast all corporation tax numbers
* Ensure shareholders are updated with tax risks

This is an ideal role for either a senior manager keen to make the transition from practice (e.g. Big 4) or an experienced in-house tax professional. To be considered, applicants must be CTA/ACA qualified.
