Your job responsibilities will include the following:
* Reviewing and updating as appropriate internal tax governance and risk documentation and processes and embedding those frameworks within the tax team.
* Communicating as appropriate with HMRC and other external bodies regarding governance issues.
* Assisting the Head of Tax with other tax governance matters as appropriate
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
* Financial services tax experience (e.g. in another bank, accountancy or law firm)
* Experience of in-house governance and control and oversight programmes
* Good tax technical knowledge
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* A strong team player
* Professional qualification (Accountant/Lawyer/CTA) or equivalent
