Your new company
Your new company is a large independent accountancy practice with 7 partners and 65 members of staff, this firm has been operating for over 70 years as an accountants, auditors, tax specialists and trusted advisers. Due to an increase in workload, this firm are looking to take on a corporate tax manager for their office in Wigan.

Your new role
Your new role in Corporate tax will involve managing our own portfolio of clients from varying sectors with a range of turnovers. You will be responsible for the compliance aspect of the work including preparation of corporate tax returns and computations and offering tax advice to clients with an involvement into tax planning and projects.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have recent practical experience in running a corporate tax compliance portfolio and an up to date knowledge of taxation issues. Candidate that are experienced in people management will also have the opportunity to be responsible for a number of members of staff, but will need prior experience in doing so. You will also be pro-active, resilient and driven to win new business and maintain client relationships.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £35,000- £40,000 dependent on experience and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive the opportunity to establish yourself within a reputable independent practice.
