An Interim Tax Manager (Automation) job with a logistics company in Sheffield. £60,000. 12 month contract
Your new company
I am working in partnership with a truly global logistics and mail delivery company based in Sheffield to recruit an interim Tax Manager to assist the Tax Team in automating processes in the tax department, paying particular attention to their capital allowances database.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Corporation Tax, you will take over and run the existing capital allowance database and work with advisers to see if any improvements can be made. You will also complete a review of historic capital allowance claims. In addition to the systems work, you will be required to assist the Head of Corporation tax with half and full year reporting in relation to capital allowances, capital gains computations and utilisation of roll over relief.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have exceptional IT systems skills and have knowledge of CAD (Tax Automation's capital assets database) or other similar capital allowance systems. Knowledge of SAP would also be beneficial. You will enjoy working as part of a team, problem solving and thinking outside of the box. It is essential that you possess good project management and project delivery skills and have experience of improving systems in a previous role.
