Our client is a prestigious advisory firm, operating across tax, audit and consultancy services. Their London based indirect tax technology consulting team is looking to grow further due to increased pipeline of high-end VAT / indirect tax automation projects. They are looking to hire into the team at Manager level.
Typical projects that you would work on include VAT process improvement within a European SSC, Indirect tax advice in connection with SAP roll-out for large multinational group, and indirect tax engine deployment project.
In terms of your background, you will have a VAT / indirect tax training, having seen how VAT compliance and systems can be set-up within a large international group. You will also ideally have knowledge / experience around ERP set-up for VAT and user experience with VAT compliance software, possibly within the tax shared service environment. IT programming experience is not required. In addition, you will be able to work well with clients, good experience with team-working, and be able to communicate well in a business environment.
Overall you will have a strong interest in IT / technology / business systems, now wishing to progress your career further within the specialist VAT automation market. This opportunity has excellent promotion possibilities in the medium term.
