I am partnering closely with an award winning business based in Edinburgh who have completed a number of high-profile acquisitions in the last 12 months. As a result of this rapid growth, there have been a number of internal promotions. Subsequently, we now have a great career opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the team.

This role would suit a recently qualified Accountant that enjoys analysis and has a real eye for detail. Ideally, you will have two years’ experience in industry however I will consider great candidates from the profession who can demonstrate they are commercially aware and are looking to add value and progress and develop within the industry. It is the perfect first move into industry.

Some key responsibilities include:

· Support the planning and execution of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets working with management across the business. You will be working in the planning department and you will be responsible for providing analysis.
· Ledger management and monthly management accounting for the JVs including production of flash reports, monthly management accounts and completion of reconciliations
· Sales and costs analysis on a weekly basis reported to the Board;
· Build relationships with close business partnering primarily with the Commercial teams and key stakeholders
· Reviewing and analysing the weekly trading pack and management accounts pack. As well as business case proposals and ad hoc analysis as required by the business.

Skills/Experience required:

· ACCA/CIMA/ICAS Qualified Accountant
· Min 1 year experience within industry or a strong background in the profession with a desire to work in commerce and industry.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Commercially aware
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Ambitious and looking to add value to the business
