This UK head quartered business generates annual revenues in excess of $2bn. With operations all over the world it delivers business to business technology solutions to clients in one specialised market. Listed overseas, it holds a tax presence in more than fifty countries.
Following a period of growth, there is a need to expand the global tax team with the addition of a Tax Manager. Reporting to the Director of Tax Reporting and Compliance, you will support both the UK and global tax compliance processes. Furthermore you will support with quarterly and annual tax reporting requirements under US GAAP.
Key duties include:
Group
Preparation of the quarterly and annual group ETR models
Assistance of the tax forecasting and cash tax processes
Monitor cash payments, explaining variances against forecast
Assisting with the transition to a more automated tax reporting system
UK
Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax returns for selected UK group companies
Oversee the reparation and review of tax disclosures for allocated UK statutory accounts
Review of the Group’s SAO obligations
Review of group payment, group relief schedules and HMRC elections for UK Group;
Review including WHT certificates, CT61 filings and CFCs
International
Review and management of tax compliance for MEA and APAC, prepared externally
Review of the local financial statements tax disclosures for MEA and APAC, prepared externally
Ensuring all direct tax compliance obligations (filings and payments) are met
Provide tax audit support for MEA and APAC.
Assist on Transfer Pricing projects to ensure the business meets its compliance obligations under BEPS
Maintain relevant transfer pricing documentation for allocated entities
About you:
ACA qualified or equivalent
UK/US direct tax training background
Further UK corporate tax compliance and accounting experience
US GAAP experience an advantage
Strong tax technology skills
