Note: This role is based in Essex but my client is keen to attract talent from the London market

My client is not an accountancy practice HOWEVER their products are offered through a network of Accountants (top 20 all the way down to sole practitioners). As such this role requires a technically strong, robust Tax advisor adept at dealing with multiple insurance claims in relation to HMRC enquiries. Your main contacts will be Partners / Directors & Senior Managers wanting advice and guidance on how to handle their client’s HMRC enquiry. Along with a small established team you will also ascertain whether the full claim under the insurance is acceptable in line with policy guidance - this area we do not expect candidates to have and as such full training will be given.

Despite the technical focus, this is a commercial role with significant client contact whether that be by telephone or more often with the bigger firms in person. You will be a confident, eloquent individual able to hold court with at times some challenging personalities and not afraid to push back when circumstances arise.

It’s a challenging and highly rewarding role suited to a technically adept Tax specialist who is also keen to learn new skills and be mentored by the Managing Director whilst sitting on an accomplished management team all thoroughly invested in the continued expansion of this business.
