Group Tax Manager - In-House

Newly created role with this Global Financial Services Group with a focus on providing tax advice and input to support substantial business growth in the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working in a tax team in FS looking to make a step up or an individual working in an FS team in the Big 4 looking to make their first move out of the profession.

* Manage corporate tax compliance for South APAC (Singapore, Australia/New Zealand), review the process and enhance efficiencies
* Responsibility for advising on corporate tax issues, ensuring tax risk is managed appropriately for all transactions
* Attend and provide corporate tax input to new initiatives/transactions and be responsible for advising on business queries generally.
* Monitorl corporate tax developments and ensuring relevant changes are communicated effectively to affected business lines
* Identify and implement corporate tax process and control improvements to ensure operational effectiveness
* Handle tax authorities' enquiries or audits
* Prepare/ review income tax provisions and accruals in financial statements and management accounts
* Working closely with Transfer Pricing and indirect tax colleagues on tax related issues and liaise with other key departments such as Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk as required
