Tax Analyst

In this role you will gain exposure to:

* Managing the firm's relationship with Big 4 tax advisors and auditors, and working collaboratively with various internal teams on tax-related matters.
* Preparation of tax related balances/reconciliation's in the monthly accounts and coordinating with external auditors regarding the tax provisions in the year-end financial statements.
* Oversight of tax compliance matters (undertaken by external advisors), including corporation tax, VAT and transfer pricing for the corporate group entities (including UK, US, Luxembourg, Japan, Switzerland, Ireland).
* Involvement in a broad range of advisory projects across the corporate group requiring tax input.
* Oversight of tax compliance for fund entities (undertaken by external advisors), including corporation tax returns, VAT returns and transfer pricing.
* Involvement with tax advice on new product and fund launches, including structuring advice, obtaining tax rulings and other ad hoc projects.
* Responding to and investigating any ad hoc withholding and capital gains tax queries from the trading desks or Operations and filing tax documentation for tax treaty purposes.
* Overseeing tax certification and investor tax reporting process for various jurisdictions (including UK, US, Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
* Co-ordination of FATCA and CRS compliance requirements.
* Monitoring tax developments relevant to the business and involvement in implementation of any necessary actions/responses.
* Maintaining a strong RBC relationship on Tax related matters and complying with RBC policies and procedures.
