Tax Accountant - In-house

In this role you will have day to day management of the group's tax compliance process, production of group and entity tax provisions for the financial statements including: calculating prior year adjustments, group relief payment position, current and deferred tax position for UK and non-UK entities. You will also liaise with external advisors where required, completion and filing of UK and Irish corporate tax returns. This is an international company, you will work with overseas colleagues to ensure European & US tax returns are completed and filed, including providing advice as and when required.

There will be a TP element to the role where you will ensure that transfer pricing documentation is up to date and compliant with new standards, completion of country-by-country-reporting in line with OECD guidance and monitoring developments within OECD, and local country implementation, to identify changes/challenges on the horizon and advise business on appropriate response.

You will be responsible for acting as technical advisor for the business for any queries on application of UK and overseas IPT regimes and for the business for any VAT-related queries with periodic review of VAT-related processes and procedures to ensure accounting procedures are adequate.
