M&A Tax Senior Manager , Global Firm

Join this highly successful deals team and fast track to a director position. The team needs and wants ambitious hungry individuals who want to make an impact. 

You will be working with a range of clients in all industries. Transactions vary from small SME focused deals to high profile brand names. The team includes tax specialists from every niche in the firm. 

Your first twelve months:

Your initial remit will be build and improve relationships with your clients. You will then work with senior staff to win new work from clients and to target high profile businesses. Handling and running complicated projects and ensuring your team delivers on its promises to a high standard will be a priority, and will require all your technical  and people management skills. 

Key challenges: 

Coach, mentor and bring up your team so they can be the leaders of tomorrow. The number one priority for any team leader is the recruitment and development of top quality staff.

Ensure your team delivers on the projects to a high standard and ensure the clients are happy with the results.

Twelve months plus:

You will work to have significant involvement in terms of strategy and operations and also through management and development of staff.

After you have established yourself, you will work towards building your own internal value. If you want to get to director and partner you will need to build “brand you” so you get noticed by the partners. This team will recognise excellence, however you will need to make sure the senior tim is aware of your achievements.
