Quality and risk management manager

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong Compliance & Reporting Tax or Tax Audit background (in-house or Practice), whom has a strong controls mind-set and has a passion for pro-actively effectively managing a firm risk profile, without the burden of hands on Tax work.

Equally the exposure this role offers allows extraordinary exposure to literally all Tax Service lines for the business. Work life balance is assured because you are not a revenue generating individual and you can manage the internal stakeholders expectations on deadlines,work load etc.

This role involves:
* maintaining and developing the profile and reputation of the firm by helping manage their risk
* contribute to and reviews material to assist offices with managing risk
* act as an ambassador of the firm demonstrating knowledge of the firm's products and services as well as sector/industry understanding
* principal contact for the tax practice for general risk management inquiries including: take-on, engagement letters, hold harmless/ release letters
* provide support on all tax processes, checklists and the tax manual
* monitor and assist in the firm's adherence to quality and risk management procedures
* helps identify areas creating an unacceptable risk exposure to the tax practice
* assists in managing our firm's risk by working on clear policies and processes and helping improve existing material, that reduce our exposure to PI claims
* co-ordinates the QAP to ensure that the tax practice is following agreed processes and providing a quality service to clients
