Manager - Corporate Audit, London

You've qualified and have at least one year's experience (post-qualification) but you're still seen (at most) as the Manager's Assistant? It's time to change! Boost that next step in your career to a Manager position at a reputable Top 10 accountancy firm.

We're looking for an Audit Manager to take the lead of their own client portfolio worth up to £100 million turnover, whilst growing in a firm that has a high reputation for providing a high quality service, with areas of technical expertise, in corporate business, non profits, professional practice, pension funds and private clients.

Responsibilities
*Managing and being involved in all stages of the audit process from planning to completion
*Managing and undertaking statutory audits
*Act as the principal contact for the client during the on-site fieldwork
*Show initiative and take responsibility for management of the audit and your team to ensure completion within the agreed budget
*Manage on-site teams and assist in the supervision and development of your team
*Be able to work to tight deadlines

Requirements
To qualify for the role you must have:
*ACA or local equivalent
*Strong academic background
*Up to date knowledge of current accounting standards
*Basic understanding of tax issues
*Up to date on current economic and market trends
*Highly proficient in written and oral communication
*Able to develop strong client relationships to be seen as a primary point of contact within the firm
