Senior Tax Planning Manager (Steuerberater), Berlin

A very successful US multinational is looking to hire a dedicated Senior Tax Planning Manager to join its international tax planning team. Germany is already a key jurisdiction within the company, with ambitious plans for growth in the future. This role is critical to the organisation and you will receive the necessary recognition & reward for your efforts.

This is a very senior position and joins the international tax planning team. It will be focused on corporate restructuring and cross-border tax planning for the many businesses in Germany and other European countries. There is a need to define & execute tax strategy across Germany and also work on many global, cross-border tax projects.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in German tax affairs including M&A and ETR management, and will be currently working in a large multinational company, having previously trained in a Big 4 firm or law firm. You will probably have 10 - 15 years corporate / international tax experience & you will need to be able to demonstrate proof of operating at a high level and have the capability to add value through advisory, planning & tax saving opportunities.

Of greatest importance is to find someone with an engaging personality with excellent communication skills, someone who will really enjoy building relationships with the businesses & with the Global Tax Team.
