Personal Tax Consultant, London, to £65k

One of the leading, independent practices in Central London can offer an exciting and challenging role for a private client specialist to join their expanding team.

The role offers a combination of compliance and advisory work and there is excellent scope for progression. On one hand, for example, you will be handling a portfolio of high net worth individuals ,many of whom are non-domiciled , which will offer exposure to a range of areas of personal tax areas including CGT and IHT issues.

In addition, you will work with the partner on a number of advisory projects, helping to identify planning opportunities on your client base and subsequently providing recommendations to the clients.

The role is positioned at a senior, strategic level within the firm and the position offers genuine prospects for progression to partner.

Ideally, you will be CTA qualified and be experienced in all personal tax matters including knowledge of the area of non- domiciled clients as well as knowledge of the capital taxes and residency issues. In addition, you should display strong communication skills and good commercial awareness , as there is plenty of opportunity for client contact and interaction.
