A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join there growing staff as a Senior Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing preparation of primarily individual, partnership, and S-corp tax returns.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for:
Supervising and coordinating staff in preparing corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and tax-exempt entity tax returns
Scheduling and reviewing staff work
Conducting tax research
Serving clients’ specific needs and identifying value-added solutions for clients
Maintaining accurate records for client billing system
Reviewing the work performance of staff on an ongoing and semi-annual basis
REQUIRED SKILLS
6 years of Individuals & Partnerships experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Solid Tax background (Corporate; Fiduciary; Individual; Partnership; Trust / Estate)
Microsoft Excel proficient
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills
CPA or parts passed
Working knowledge of Prosystem
