Job Description:

The impact of the prolonged downturn continues to be felt in certain parts of the world but pockets of opportunity and optimism have emerged within the real estate. The UK real estate investment market has enjoyed high levels of capital inflow from a wide range of different investors groups and continues to be attractive.

At Grant Thornton, it’s our goal to help our clients benefit from these opportunities and unlock their potential for growth.

The Real Estate Tax team works with clients operating in the property investment and development sectors, along with property funds and traders. We provide compliance services and advisory services for both UK and overseas businesses.

A lot of the work is transactional in nature and we work closely with other sector specialists around the firm.


•you'll demonstrate an understanding of the full range of the firm's products, services and capabilities and takes an active role in cross selling
•you'll build a rapport with the individual client and develops a clear and detailed understanding of the business and client expectations
•you'll be responsible for planning and performing tax consultancy assignments
•you'll work effectively with all members of the team, building the confidence and respect of peers and subordinates

Experience/Education/Qualifications required:
•you'll be professionally qualified (ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ ACCA) and have post qualification experience
•you'll have sound technical knowledge
•you'll have managerial skills
