You will be joining an internationally recognised Law Firm who have an impeccable reputation, an exceptional working culture and offer the perfect blend of high profile work and a supportive environment to flourish.
You will practice within the US Private Client and International Tax team in Singapore. You will be tasked with looking after existing firm clients and developing additional client relationships. This is a top-ranking wealth planning team that has a number of talented partners from various locations across the USA, Europe and Asia advising domestic and internationally based clients and their family offices in relation to trusts, tax, and estate and succession issues.
You will advise high net worth individuals, their closely held businesses and their families on US and international tax, trust and estate planning matters. You will advise on all aspects of wealth structuring, using domestic and international trusts and foundations, private trust companies in the US as well as offshore jurisdictions and co-ordinate the acquisition of appropriate investments. You will focus on US estate planning, US taxation of trusts with US beneficiaries, US citizenship and green card matters including renunciation and relinquishment, cross-border charitable giving and certain US tax compliance including FATCA and the IRS Voluntary Disclosure programs.
You should have ten plus years of relevant experience as well as an LLM in Taxation from a top ranking US Law school.
