Head of VAT, London, to £125k + 30% bonus + pension

For someone who enjoys VAT, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for an overseas parented multinational with involvement in every area of VAT possible.

You will work across a wide variety of business across several industry sectors, maintaining & developing what is already a very high profile for VAT - working closely with FDs & Chief Accountants across Europe.

Utilising your extensive UK & European VAT expertise and reporting to the Tax Director - Europe, this position will lead on VAT planning around acquisitions & disposals of companies, new product & company launches & supply chain management from a VAT perspective.

Keeping on top of VAT regulatory changes, ‘high level’ audit work, mitigating risk and managing compliance are essential features of this role too. A proven track record of managing relationships with tax authorities across Europe will be valued greatly.

Someone with strong tax technical skills who is commercial and able to pick up complex matters quickly will thrive in this environment. A self-starter with drive and energy will also be helpful.
