JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of International Tax will:

Provide implementation support and day-to-day direction for international operations
Work with treasury, identify funding strategies and cash planning for international
Work with legal, support business and legal entity structuring, including forming entities, local registrations and making check-the-box elections in the US
Support the international tax strategy and manage the global effective tax rate
Manage the US tax compliance for international operations including; US Information Returns, Foreign Tax Credit, Statements
Monitor status and ensure timely filing of local income tax filings, payments, and statutory financial statements for multiple foreign jurisdictions
Maintain a process to manage global transfer pricing
Manage the finance aspects for international board meetings

REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
10+ years of international tax experience in a “Big 4” accounting firm and/or US based Multi-National Corporation
Extensive working knowledge of international tax
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to competently interact with senior management and external advisors
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Team player with proven ability to build partnerships with peers and cross divisional groups
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong work ethic
Excellent organizational and follow up skills
