Our client is one of the leading Big 4 firms recruiting for their office in the Cayman Islands. On offer is a unique opportunity to join their growing Asset Management team as a US Tax Associate. You will be joining a team of 12 serving a range of firms in the financial services industry. Their clients are typically hedge funds and captive insurance companies who operate worldwide.
As an important member of the tax team, you will be helping to solve client problems in your functional area. You will act as a member of an engagement team and assist in performing aspects of the engagement, including planning, fieldwork, research on various issues, drafting and reviewing relevant documents and disclosures, coordinating and clearing all levels of review.
Suitable candidates will possess 2+ years’ experience in a similar environment (serving corporate clients in a public accounting firm. You will possess a Masters in Taxation or JD/LLM. Whilst not required, it is an advantage to already be working towards the CPA license.
This position will suit an individual who wishes to gain greater exposure to the financial services industry.
