We are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business based in Edinburgh. Due to a number of high profile, exciting acquisitions, the business have a requirement for a dynamic and ambitious Finance Analyst to join their highly regarded finance team and play a key part in their future growth and success.

The key goal for this role is to deliver value added analysis, benchmarking, reporting and decision making support tools to enable the sound decision making that drives growth and margin expansion. The growth of the business and the increasing complexity make this role an exciting, interesting, and very challenging proposition. Expect to get involved in supporting new projects and initiatives, driving performance, and help shaping key strategies and plans for the future.

Key duties within the role:

· Support the Finance Manager in provision of management information and analysis for decision support purposes
· Help to develop business partnering and strengthen relationships with internal customers
· Prepare budgets, forecasts and long term plans for the specific areas of the business
· Coordinate with senior management to ensure that all incomes and expenditures are known and understood
· Central point of contact, along with the Finance Manager, for all reporting, planning and analysis activity
· Represent finance in certain monthly & quarterly meetings and build internal customer relationships with close partnering

Experience/Skills required:

· Part Qualified accountant with at least 2 years relevant experience
· An eye for detail and is passionate about analysis and reporting and is good at communicating insights/conclusions within a large, complex organisation
· You will have the ability to turn insights into action: you are not just satisfied with the actual analytics, but are eager to see to it that your work impacts decisions and delivers results
· A strong focus on organisation and delivery to agreed timetables
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate across all areas and levels of a business
