This is an outstanding opportunity for an Expatriate and Global Mobility focused Manager. An Exciting role with a mid sized organisational client base this role will have a dual compliance and advisory focus. Due to the size of your clients and the breadth of the role you will have a varied and interesting career with no 2 days being the same. Working closely with other members of the Global Mobility Team, you will focus on the delivery of an exceptional service to your clients, demonstrating your solid tax technical capabilities and building strong and lasting relationships with your client base. Combined with this you will also be responsible for developing and coaching junior members of the team.

Responsibilities will include the management of all day to day aspects of a client portfolio, this will include the following:

* Conducting arrival and departure meetings with international assignees.
* Reviewing UK tax returns and dealing with any queries arising.
* Running modified expatriate payrolls, gross up calculations and the year-end process.
* Financial management.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service.
* Manage junior members of the team to ensure a high standard of client delivery.
* To be the primary contact point for both the corporate clients and the individual expatriates.
* To manage the compliance process, addressing any concerns and ensuring the compliance process runs smoothly.
* Take an active role with business development by working on tenders and proposals.
* Assisting in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
* Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach.
* Manage risk appropriately for both clients and the firm.
* Deliver advisory work on your portfolio and assist more senior members of the team with specific advisory projects.

Some of the more common areas in which we provide advice are:

* Statutory residence reviews;
* Advice regarding the tax-ability of bonuses, equity incentives etc;
* Providing general advice to employers when assigning individuals overseas or to the UK for the first time;
* Remuneration structuring;
* Social Security advice;
* Double tax treaty advice; and
* Global Mobility strategy and policy design.

To be suitable for this role you will likely be:

* ATT, CTA or qualified.
* Extensive relevant expatriate tax experience. Those with private client tax (non-dom) backgrounds will also be considered.
* Experience of managing expatriate tax programs with a track record of high quality delivery.
* Experience of leading and motivating more junior staff.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills with clients and staff at all levels with the ability to build rapport and develop strong relationships.
* Ability to understand the full range of the firm's service offering and translating that into identifying new work opportunities.
