I am currently looking to assist this interesting firm find a new Senior Manager of Employee Taxes. Based in London and reporting into the Head of Tax the successful applicant will have overall responsibility for global Employee Tax strategy.

This is a broad role that will include (but not be restricted to) the following responsibilities.

* Responsible for advising on, and driving implementation of, the Group's strategy regarding employee taxes
* Recommends and drives policy changes in respect of remuneration structures and terms and conditions, as appropriate
* Works with HR and Reward to deliver efficiency to the business in respect of employees
* Responsible for Divers taxation and Certificate of Tax Deposit compliance, remittances, CTD procedures, purchasing and redemption, annual returns to HMRC.
* Provides assurance and recommendations on the effectiveness of the Group's planning in respect of employment tax structures, and compliance with associated protocols, including GEC arrangements
* Advises commercial and regional tax teams in relation to employee taxes at tendering stage
* Responsible for compliance arrangements of short term business visitors, assignees/ secondees and rota-tors/commuters.
* Oversees the resolution of legacy compliance issues and current tax audits to the extent in respect of employment taxes.
* Seeks to deliver efficiency and cost savings in respect of employment taxes within the bounds of the Group's risk profile
* Ensures continued development and maintenance of positive working relationship with tax authorities globally and that all dealings with tax authorities are conducted in an open and professional manner.

You will be:

* University degree qualified
* CTA / ACA or international equivalent
* Training preferably obtained within 'Big 4' accounting firm environment in employee taxes either in practice or industry
* Track record of delivery working in employee taxes either in practice or industry
* Experience of the oil services contracting business
* Recent experience of leading a team
