International and UK Tax Senior Manager- Special Projects, London

This is a newly created role in the tax team, where you will provide extra senior bandwidth to lead and assist on multiple projects in the international and UK tax arenas. The projects will be varied and highly complex requiring very high technical skills project management and judgement. The team will need you to lead and execute a variety of special technical projects in the international and UK domestic tax arenas with minimum supervision.

In this role you will be working on:

* Projects that will include refinancing, M&A, reorganisations and planning involving UK and overseas tax issues.
* Projects that will involve intricate and complex tax issues often where there is little precedent and judgement is required and will often be material to the group in value terms.

You will need to:

* Provide project management, and coming to a view on technical issues.
* Financing, reorganisations, M&A, dividend planning etc.
* Have a very good knowledge of the UK taxation of international operations, cfc issues etc is essential.
* A very good working knowledge of OECD based initiatives around international taxation and their application to UK parented groups is also required.
