A role has arisen in a large multinational with EMEA headquarters based in Central London. Reporting to and working closely with the EMEA Tax Director, you will largely work on a project basis and will be advising on areas such as new territory start-ups, structuring new contracts, advising on the tax implications of new projects, contract review of joint ventures and UK issues around other taxes such as VAT or employment taxes as well as some compliance and reporting involved.
The role would very much suit someone who enjoys a broad role who will be unfazed by new and unfamiliar areas of tax and geographies. You work closely with the business so your approach must be commercial and you will need to be confident in building relationships with the wider business and finance teams.
The role would suit candidates either coming straight from the profession - ideally with some exposure to international tax or transactions experience, or those looking for a second move in-house, looking on building their advisory / projects experience. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
