In-house Corporate Tax Senior, West London, to £40k (option for flexible working)

Fantastic new role as number 2 to the Group Tax Manager dealing with UK corporate tax compliance and reporting. The business at this firm is increasingly complex. They are moving steadily through acquisitions in Europe and North America and the role affords a resulting breadth of interesting and challenging work.

You will be responsible for preparing all the tax computations and assisting with preparing the tax note for the year end consolidated accounts. You will need solid project management skills as you liaise with all divisions on transfer pricing to compile an updated report documenting changes following the new regulations. You will also liaise internally to identify and document R&D tax credits, as well as complete the quarterly VAT returns. There will be ad hoc analysis on projects as required and you will also support the GTM on strategic work as needed. There is a lot of work to be done in the team and lots of growth within the company. You will have the opportunity for continuous learning and promotion prospects are genuine as the team expands.

The Group Tax Manager is highly supportive and is happy to give additional training where required, as it is not expected that you will possess all the necessary tax technical skills at this stage. Of paramount importance however is a good grounding in UK corporate tax compliance. You should also be an accomplished user of Excel.

The successful candidate will likely be ATT part or fully qualified with excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
