Our global tax group also assists clients in structuring a wide range of transactions, from private equity deals to corporate acquisitions and disposals. Our tax lawyers draw upon the experience of colleagues in numerous areas of law, including intellectual property and technology, corporate and finance, real estate, projects, employment and employee benefits. The UK Tax Team has offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester and also works on a "One UK" basis, as a team. We are a close knit group. We support three areas of DLA Piper practice, namely working with our clients and colleagues on international tax projects, working with the lawyers in the UK groups, such as in corporate, IP and real estate on transactional work, and adding value to the Sectors in which the firm operates. This leads to a varied range of business tax work.

In London, our finance tax practice has blossomed and we require a junior lawyer to join the team and add to the capability. The role will not be restricted to finance tax and will involve other areas of our business tax practice too, but we envisage that the finance tax role will be the most significant part of the job.
