You will be joining a Top 10 Accountancy firm in Central London. The Capital Allowances team is a dynamic and successful area of this firm's tax practice. The team works with a wide range of organisations and individuals that incur significant expenditure on acquiring and constructing assets. The team consists of chartered surveyors and tax and accounting specialists, many of which are dual qualified or currently undertaking their professional qualifications

Your new role
As assistant manager, you will assist with the delivery of client engagements and prepare capital allowance claims for submission to HMRC. You will assist in the preparation of technical queries and assist management in the preparation of proposals. You will be responsible for keeping documentation up to date; analysing problems, identifying core issues and integrating information.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have a construction and property related degree or have a tax background with a CTA or ACA qualification. Experience working for/ with the construction and property industry is essential along with a good level of awareness of property matters including cost estimating.
