A global marketing solutions provider located in New York City is actively seeking a self-motivated and driven Accountant, with a strong Tax Reporting background, for a promising Senior role on their staff. As a Tax Reporting Senior Accountant, the qualified candidate will be responsible for preparation, review and compilation of the Non-US Income Tax Provision, as well as assisting in the review of international compliance filings such as Form 5471.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Reporting Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
Review of International Tax Provision Tax Packages prepared by foreign agencies
Preparation of schedules that support the tax portion of the Financial Statement footnotes
Preparation and/or review of Quarterly APB 28 Effective Tax Rate calculations for international entities
Research regarding recently issued accounting guidance
Review tax transaction reports to determine impact to worldwide tax provision
Support of research, planning and compliance functions - in particular, maintenance of details supporting various tax attributes
Review of International Entity Information Report which is used for collecting financial data from international agencies and subsequently used for preparation of Form 5471
Assisting with special projects
REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years of accounting experience with at least
1-2 years of experience with ASC 740/FIN 48 provision preparation
Working knowledge of ASC 740
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Master's Degree in Accounting/Tax
Proficient in Microsoft Excel applications such as Pivot tables
Proficient/familiar in financial reporting software such as Hyperion and SAP
Proficient/familiar with tax technology software One Source Provision
Desired Skills
