JOB DESCRIPTION
The Treasury Analyst will:
Coordinate with banks in the opening and closing of bank accounts along with implementing any treasury services needed to maintain them
Initiate paperwork for wires necessary to pay third party vendors, conduct intercompany payments and complete payroll funding transactions
Prepare daily cash position report; prepare journal entries to reflect cash movement during the month; and prepare monthly proof of cash for cleared and billed revenue
Oversee maintenance of database for reportable unclaimed property, and work with unclaimed property administration system personnel to file unclaimed property
Prepare the necessary paperwork to file for any monies owed back to us by either state comptroller or third party vendor
Set up new vendors within Oracle; assists tax department in gathering treasury-related transactions necessary for completion of their returns
Complete various ad-hoc projects including automation/improvement of current processes
Coordinate with auditors during month-end and year-end processes to ensure all reports and requests are completed by proposed deadlines
REQUIRED SKILLS
2+ years of related work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
Previous experience with Cash Flows, Reconciliations, Treasuries, Variance Analysis, Wire Transfers, and Accounts Receivable / Payable
Understanding of Accounting & Finance Principles
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills
Working knowledge of Oracle General Ledger
