Tax Litigation Advisor - Controversy and Risk Management, Big 4, London - £45-50k

Your new company
The Tax Controversy and Risk Management team at this Big 4 firm meet complex demands for UK tax reporting, compliance, planning, strategy and controversy. By integrating deep technical and industry knowledge with established methodologies, they work with a wide range of businesses and corporates to help them develop and implement effective, practical and sustainable tax strategies.

Professionals in the controversy team assist clients with reviewing and optimising their compliance systems and requirements and, where appropriate, liaise with the revenue authorities as they seek to agree liabilities and responsibilities.

Your new role
You will manage a broad portfolio of tax litigation cases at various stages in the litigation process. You will contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to clients; building and maintaining relationships as well as contributing to winning new clients. In addition, you will manage the delivery of tax projects, provide full tax services to a portfolio and manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor with at least a years experience in litigation. You will be ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA qualified or be a Tax Inspector with a full Technical Training Course. You must have a legal background as the role will require technically astute candidate who can read and interpret existing and new tax statute. You must have the ability to build strong relations with clients and thus good communication skills and commercial awareness are of utmost importance.
