Our client, a leading 5 Partner Independent Firm of Chartered Accountants located near Oxford Street, are looking for a Private Client Tax Manager to join their highly successful team. On offer is the opportunity to get involved in a variety of Compliance and Advisory work with a broad client portfolio. In return you will receive an excellent remuneration package.
The Role
• Managing a department of experienced tax specialists
• Assisting Partners with Private Client Advisory work
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Monitoring work and ensuring deadlines are met
• Client billing
• Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team
• Managing Personal Tax compliance correspondence
• Marketing to clients
• Tax consultancy work
The Candidate
• CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified
• Demonstrable knowledge of UK Income Tax, Non-Dom Taxation, Capital Gains Tax, National Insurance
• Technically confident in using tax legislation and able to research issues
• A pro-active self-starter
• Able to develop client relationships
• Able to work in a team with partners in the firm
• Strong marketing and business development skills with the ability to win new work and cross-sell the firm’s services
