You’ll be technically strong with a good audit grounding, preferably encompassing Pension Schemes but if not, a willingness to learn.
You’ll have experience of supervising audit teams on site, reviewing the work of Associates and assisting senior audit managers in project management and client liaison.
You’ll work alongside other Assistant Managers reporting to a Senior Manager on large complex audit assignments, as well as managing a small low risk portfolio of clients as manager.
You’ll carry out work profitably and on a timely basis, in accordance with the firm’s professional standards and to the satisfaction of our clients and audit senior managers / RI’s.
You’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues, supporting the team in delivering a quality audit to timetable, and contribute to a continuous improvement ethos for the team and providing insightful comments to report to the client.
You’ll be an exceptional team player, juggling a number of clients with conflicting demands.
You’ll effectively support audit senior managers to ensure work fulfils audit objectives and quality standards.

Education, experience and qualifications:

You'll be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
You’ll have on-the job experience of delivering large client audit work / managing a portfolio of smaller clients, within a practice environment, ideally including experience of pensions schemes.
You’ll be comfortable with managing audit teams and developing a strong client / team relationships.
You’ll have a good working knowledge of FRS 102
You'll, ideally, also have good working knowledge of compliance and regulation, with specific detailed knowledge of the Pensions SORP, the Pensions Regulator's Codes of Practice and Practice Note 15 auditing guidance – or a willingness to learn
