VAT Analyst - FTSE Listed - In-House
A world leading retail company are looking for a VAT Analyst to join their growing VAT Team in Hertfordshire. The company pride themselves on developing their staff and encourage them to utilise their talents and contribute ideas to drive the business forwards.
As VAT Analyst you will report directly to the VAT Manager and be supporting the business with their VAT, sales and procurement accounts. You will also have the opportunity to work on in-house projects and develop your skills through work based training.
This is a collaborative role and will require you to communicate with teams across the business in the UK and Europe. You will be a motivated self-starter and be happy to work autonomously as well as part of a team
The key responsibilities for the role of VAT Analyst will be:
* Manage the preparation of VAT returns
* Transaction Analysis (Large Volumes)
* Document new procedures and map current processes with regards to both VAT preparation and reconciliation processes.
* Indirect Tax Advisory
* Provide complete, accurate and timely VAT to colleagues in the UK and Europe
