Do you have experience of working with a broad range of clients, providing advice and guidance that spans the full range of tax investigation enquiries?

Do you have a good eye for detail, a strong tax technical mind and the ability to manage client, HMRC and third party relationships effectively?

Based in London, this established practice continues to enjoy a high volume of enquiry work, Code of Practice 9 in particular.

The business is looking to hire someone who can sit below the partners and run with projects without the need for much supervision. Someone who is probably a Tax Investigations Senior Manager or possibly a Director, with a large accountancy firm background, or perhaps with a smaller firm that nonetheless boasts a renowned tax investigations department.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of client work, tackling the full range of HMRC enquiries including Code of Practice 8 and Code of Practice 9, voluntary disclosures and assisting the partners with business development and networking initiatives when required.

This is a tax investigations position that offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, plenty of variety and a competitive basic salary that can compete with the big players in this niche area.
