Tax Compliance Manager, KPMG, Dublin

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Tax Compliance Manager for a permanent opportunity. The successful candidate will assist our tax compliance group and gain significant experience within the largest Tax practice in Ireland. This role offers flexibility in working hours which may appeal to some candidates.

We have the facility to offer flexible working arrangements should this be of interest.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsibility for delivering corporation tax compliance services in an efficient high-quality manner. This will include assisting in tax provisioning work (deferred tax etc) where appropriate

Full responsibility for client communications

Managing a team of tax trainees in the delivery of such services to include an active role in the performance appraisal process

Planning of tax compliance timetable and liaising closely with clients and audit teams where appropriate

Liaising with Revenue Commissioners on compliance matters

Liaising with tax partners and other members of the client team

General administration, including working capital management

Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) and member of the Irish Taxation Institute

Commitment to being best in class in the delivery of compliance services

Commitment to clear communication, efficient operations and an effective performance so as to ensure that business needs continue to be satisfied

Strong project management and process skills

Strong technical knowledge of tax

At least four years in a professional tax environment with some time at manager grade (or equivalent) or above.

Excellent delegation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks on an ongoing basis
