In-house International Tax Advisor, Global Brand, London, to £70k (flexible working location)

As International Tax Advisor, you will take principal responsibility for providing specialist international tax advice to the group. You will be expected to engage fluently with the wider tax team and senior commercial stakeholders on a wide variety of projects globally.
This role suits an experienced international corporate tax professional with some knowledge of transfer pricing. For the successful candidate this role will develop to encompass provide tax and transfer pricing support on cross border M&A projects and funding transactions in support of the overall Group growth agenda. Key responsibilities:

International Tax and M&A

•Ensuring group compliance with the global implementation of the BEPS initiative, including identification of planning opportunities for tax efficiencies
•Working closely with other Group departments to support and advise on projects and initiatives in particular, M&A and funding transactions
•Partner with global businesses to generate, and propose cross border tax initiatives to proactively minimise the tax burden on the group, in accordance with tax strategy/risk framework
•Liaise with external advisers (both UK and overseas) on managing the tax aspects of international projects
•Provide specialist advice on cross border tax issues such as Permanent Establishments, Withholding Tax and Double Tax Relief
•Provide technical analysis and support with managing the Groups worldwide compliance with FATCA and CRS legislation

Transfer Pricing (TP) and Country by Country Reporting (CbCR)

•Support with driving and implementing the TP and CbCR strategy for the Group
•Support and advise on key TP projects and initiatives including funding, service, IP and transactions
•Ensuring OECD requirements for global transfer pricing Master and Local file documentation are met
•Monitor and review emerging key TP risks and implement changes as required
•Proving input into group wide TP policies and procedures and provide guidance on setting local TP policies and procedures
•Prepare TP documentation for transactions

Compliance and reporting

•Manage CFC compliance obligations in the UK
•Analyse application of Disregard Regulations to foreign exchange movements in the UK entities
•Manage the UK tax compliance requirements for the UK Treasury Companies
•Support the Global Tax Reporting Manager with ad-hoc advice

Stakeholder management

•Pro-actively manage all key internal stakeholders within the Group
•Assist in managing relationships with advisors and tax authorities both in the UK and overseas
•Interact with senior management, leadership, and executive teams in the Group

About you:

•ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
•Proven international corporate tax experience
•Transfer pricing experience preferred
•Experience in working with complex structured transactions
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•A high degree of problem solving
