Interim Head of tax and Treasury - In House, West London, to £400 per day

Although this is a Head of Tax & Treasury maternity cover, if you don't have any treasury experience is not a problem.

Our leading client is looking to hire for a maternity cover of 6 months.

This is a key role in the financial management of the businesses to ensure optimal and efficient treasury operations and management of all tax exposures.

As subject expert, this role provides advice and guidance to the senior management of the business on risks, exposures and mitigation options.

This role includes interlocutor for the group with HMRC and other UK government bodies when required.

Manage the tax function and external resources and advice
Ensure tax compliance requirements are met for all taxes
Provide guidance and support to the business on the practical application of vat, corporation tax, P11d, PSA etc. advising on the most efficient options
Collaborate with HR for LRS employee's payroll tax reporting
Liaise with the tax team to manage all transfer pricing and trade route issues
Support all month end, quarterly and year end management and statutory tax reporting requirements.

Treasury (no worries if you didn't have any exposure)
Ensure all processes and controls are fit for purpose and treasury policy.
Manage daily cash position, borrowing or depositing funds as required
Manage FX exposure with appropriate hedging instruments, ensure documentation meets accounting requirements
Prepare cash forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to meet GB&I and group requirements
