JOB: TAX ASSISTANT

This leading professional services firm focuses on a range of companies from SMEs and owner-managed businesses, providing a full range of tax, accounting and business services. Your new role
Your day to day role will involve looking after the corporation and individual tax affairs for a portfolio of clients. These will be across a range of sectors and for both public and private sector clients. You will be preparing tax provisions for audit and accounts purposes as well as advising clients of corporation tax liabilities and managing their statutory deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need to be AAT or ATT part qualified with 2-3 years of working with accounts and tax. You will be required to travel to other locations in and around the local area in a client facing role and will be given a lot of responsibility running your portfolio. You will therefore be required to liaise internally with the tax function and externally with clients.
What you'll get in return
If you are not AAT or ATT fully qualified, a study package will be offered to you. In addition, this role will give you exposure to other areas of advisory work, such as international tax, property tax and R&D, as well as due diligence assignments.
