Investment Advisor
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Senior will be responsible for:
Reviews of fund/investment level partnership tax returns, REIT and corporate return reviews, workpaper preparation and book to tax analyses
Exposure to both federal and state tax reporting, tax estimate calculations, and entity election maintenance
Operational functions This position will
Working closely with other tax team members and accounting staff, as well as our outside tax advisors
Tax research,
Serving as the primary link to external administrators,
Assisting with FATCA, FBAR, book accounting matters, and securities position analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS
3-6 years public and/or private tax experience
Extensive experience with partnership tax compliance
Real estate tax experience
Knowledge of state and local taxation
Highly organized
