Interim Vat Manager - In House FTSE - London

Our FTSE 100 client is looking to hire a VAT Manager for a 6 months contract to start with.

The role of VAT Manager is to provide Indirect Tax advice, liaise with the appropriate management in the relevant businesses and to manage compliance.

The role involves both compliance and demand led work and working on a range of projects.

responsibilities:

* Support to the indirect tax team in the management of UK VAT compliance including:
oPreparation of UK VAT returns (individual entity returns and consolidated VAT group returns)
oPreparation of VAT returns of EU and non-EU VAT registration filings - working with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely submission of the returns
oDocumentation and implementation of VAT compliance process
odata analytics and trend analysis of VAT return and EU sales listing information
oContinuous improvement programme to support management of VAT compliance

*Supporting global systems Director on Oracle roll out and post roll out activities
*VAT reporting tool roll out - Working on the implementation of VAT reporting tool to enhance VAT reporting capabilities -
*Dealing with day to day UK and global ad hoc queries from the business in relation to indirect tax
*Work on ad hoc projects as required (indirect tax reverse audit)
